Is Bitcoin the Future, or Am I Just Crazy? | by LIVING ON THE BITCOIN STANDARD | The Capital | Feb, 2025
Lost in the Bitcoin Block
Hanging with normies feels like a chore,
Like mining with CPUs in a world built for more.
They blink at the charts, they scoff at the gains,
Still trusting the system, still bound by its chains.
I speak of the halving, the nodes, and the hash,
They ask if it’s „real“ or just a trap.
Explaining the ledger, the scarce twenty-one,
While they get fucked by inflation every single day.
I rapid-fire facts, I show them the way,
Yet their eyes glaze over, their minds drift away.
Am I the zealot? The Oracle? The fool?
Or just too far ahead while they follow old rules?
I know I am right, and time will agree,
Yet I must temper the things that I see.
Slow down, rephrase, soften the tone,
Lest I sound crazy while proving what’s known.
It’s not their fault—they don’t understand,
Still holding their dollars like grains in the sand.
But it’s hard, man—real hard—
To wait while they learn what I know from the start.
I feel like Satoshi, lost in the past,
Or a madman whose warnings make me a scary mentally detracted man.
At best a thinker misplaced in the noise of today,
While the blocks keep on ticking, come what may.
